This is probably the larges LED or LCD screen for a battery that I've ever seen. There's a USB on the back which is the first of many. I've never seen that before as well. I've never seen that before as well. So, that's kind of cool. Hold this button in and it turns the battery off. It actually deactivates the battery. That's pretty nice, guys. Red (<80%), yellow (80-100%), green (full) – check charge without opening. That's actually a pretty good idea. Heating signal show up when heat pad is working. Heat pad would warm up the battery when temperature is below 32° F. An amazing feature. Decent freaking battery. I'm actually very happy.

All the screws are locked tight on the battery. I have seen with lock tight a lot tight on my handy. We have 300 amp fuse. Get some shunt down there. Looks pretty good. Everything is nice and neat!

This is a contactor controlled by EV grade BMS. This is why you can get this amazing amperage out of this battery. This is a craftsman battery. Put together by somebody who really really cares. I do some many battery tear down. And this battery just stands out. It’s like art. You get this T-class fuse, heavy thick bus bars incredible BMS, gorgeous EVE cells.

Power You Can Rely On

Engineered for high-rate discharge and mission-critical use, this pack combines a relay-based safety design, UL-certified components, and an EV-grade BMS for real-time monitoring. It delivers safe, stable, and high-performance power-exactly when you need it most.

Complete Temperature Control

With 4 strategically placed sensors for full coverage and a full surround heating system, this design ensures consistent temperature across alI cells for optimal performance and safety in any environment.

Rugged. Secure. Protected.

A 1.5mm SPCC steel casing defends against impact, while steel bands and endplates keep cells firmly in place within an anti-vibration structure. UL1332 automotive-grade wiring ensures durability, and a dual-layer safety system- EV-grade BMS and T-Class fuse- delivers comprehensive circuit protection.

Speed That Protects

Novaic's EV-grade BMS reacts in just 0.05 seconds- up to 40X faster than typical systems that can take as long as 2 secoonds. This ultra-fast response helps prevent over heating, short circuiits, and cell damage before they escalate-ensuring safer, longer-lasting performance with every ride.

Precision You Can Count On

Only an EV-grade BMS delivers this level of accuracy. Novaic keeps SOC error under 3%, while others can drift by up to 20%.That means when we say 40%, we mean it - no guesswork, no mid ways urprises.

Balanced Cells, Healthier Batteries.

Novatic's EV-grade BMS continuously balances each cell-not just at full charge-protecting cell health over time. This meanss longer battery life, more reliable performance, and fewer failures.

FAQs

What type of cells does the battery use and what are their benefits?

The battery uses EV Grade A Prismatic Cells of EVE which offer over 4000 cycles at 100% DOD, 6000 cycles at 80% DOD, 15,000 cycles at 60% DOD. DOD means Depth of Discharge (DOD). EVE is also the main cells provider of top-end electric vehicle brand like BMW and XPENG

How does the peak discharge capability benefit my golf cart?

The battery can handle peak discharges of up to 600A for 3 seconds, providing sufficient power to handle slopes and harsh roads

Do I need to change my motor or controller to use the battery? Or it is plug and play?

As long as your cart system is operating at 48V and currently using a lead-acid battery, our LiFePO4 lithium golf cart batteries can be a direct replacement. You would not need to change your electric motor or speed controller, making it a plug-and-play solution.

What is the difference between 51.2v and 48v golf cart batteries?

The primary difference between 48V and 51.2V golf cart batteries lies in their voltage and associated performance capabilities. A 51.2V battery, typically a lithium-ion battery, offers a higher voltage than the traditional 48V lead-acid battery, leading to more power output, increased efficiency, and potentially faster charging times. This higher voltage can result in improved speed and torque, making 51.2V batteries preferable for more demanding applications. However, they generally come at a higher initial cost but can offer long-term savings due to lower maintenance needs and longer lifespans.

The actual voltage of Novaic 48V golf cart battery is 51.2V, and the reason why 48V is displayed is to cater to the perception of most lead-acid battery users. It is perfectly compatible with the 48V golf cart system, you just need to check to see if the size is suitable

Can this battery replace Trojan 12v lead acid battery for golf carts?

Yes, this battery can replace Trojan 12V lead-acid batteries. It is equivalent to four Trojan 12V lead-acid batteries connected in series. Ensure that the dimensions of your battery compartment are compatible with this battery for a successful upgrade.

When going downhill, I was surprised to find that the battery level increased from 83% to 84%.

Installation was very easy — everything went smoothly without any issues. After the upgrade, the range improvement was immediately noticeable. I drove for a long time and the battery level barely dropped!

The display screen is also super convenient — it's clear, easy to read, and gives me real-time information on the battery status. Overall, really impressed with both the performance and the user-friendly design.

Amazing shopping experience

After doing a lot of research, I finally decided to go with the Novaic battery. During my search, I found this great review by Will on a similar setup — it really helped me understand what to look for. (If you're interested, here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbWe1F8niI8&t=163s)
Novaic uses an EV-grade BMS with a contactor, just like the one in the video, but the price is way better. I was impressed I could get something this good under $2,000.
Installation was super straightforward — just dropped it in and was up and running. Really happy with the upgrade. Highly recommend!
