I’m an electrical engineer buy trade. & Was just you, looked at all the options, didn’t want to spend too much, but didn’t want to buy junk. Trying to compare. I Bought a 36v about 6 months ago for my TXT cart. I had an issue I couldn’t figure out, battery charged all the way, but would not work? Emailed the company, they tried to troubleshoot, ended up sending me a complete new one, before I even sent it back, upon disassembly of the old one, found the display wiring harness not completely clicked in, was the problem all along, but already had it out, installed the new one. Could not be happier. Customer service, even tho half way around the world was still great! Was on the fence about ordering, but glad I did, would definitely buy another one. Great construction, have only charged twice in 6 months, drive every day, still at 60% holds a long charge, at least 15mph in my cart. Could not be happier or say enough! If you’re on the fence about buying? DO IT! You won’t be disappointed!!! Thumbs up! 5 Stars!! If I had to buy another one, wouldn’t even hesitate. This one is the one you want.
first battery arrived fast but had internal problem with one bad cell. Novaic replied to me immediately and sent a replacement fast. I have bought several batteries from novaic this was first one with problem. I would recommend them for customer service and quality of battery.
So, so good. We don’t have it totally hooked up, but everything checks out!
Battery so far is far better than I thought it would be. Played 36 holes and only used 25 percent. My only complaint would be the lcd display. It’s not bright enough to see the screen in the daylight.
We are in the process of upgrading a 36 volt DC 2009 EZGO TXT PDS golf cart to a Navitas AC 5kw drive system and a Novaic GR Plus 48 volt Lithium battery. The Navitas parts were plug and play and fit nicely. The battery on the other hand was another story. We had to replace the factory battery tray as it was completely rusted out. It was a simple swap out. The GR Plus battery would not fit into the tray. We ended up having to take a metal grinder saw to the tray to cut out notches for the feet at either end of the battery. The electrical connections on the side of the battery while nice, add several inches of needed clearance and were hitting the golf cart frame. We ended up cutting more notches, moving battery to the front of the tray. At this point the mounting feet are useless. They add more length causing a poor fit. Even if you lift battery on a wood tray the feet provide no value. They should be mounted on the sides not the ends. If you want a Novaic battery for an EZGO I would suggest one of their smaller batteries.
